Help Support A Christmas Gift for Jacob
A little boy named Jacob Kearns is fighting the battle of his life. Last summer, at the age of 2 1/2 he was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood leukemia. 17Candle is asking for everyone's help to bring hope to Jacob and his family by giving donations to his benefit, "A Christmas Gift for Jacob."
Below are some details on two events happening this weekend in Oelwein, IA, and Strawberry Point, IA. There will be a silent auction for donated items, with all proceeds going to the Jacob Kearn Fund. 17Candle has already pledged a number of CDs and Merch, and anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. You will also find contact information on where to send donations below.

Look out Chicago, here comes 17Candle! The band will perform at the Double Door in the Windy City along with 3 other bands in the Land Shark Battle of the Bands on Sept 17th. Then, it's back in the hands of voters as the entire nation selects the top band from all three regions (Chicago, Nashville, Austin).

17Candle has been invited to perform at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, NV, which will take place November 17-19th. The band will be showcasing for thousands of casino and gaming executives and talent buyers, as well as theme park entertainment executives. 17Candle has entered into another online battle of the bands, the Taylor Guitars and Elixir Strings Test Drive Competition!

17Candle is currently leading the nation in votes in the Land Shark Lager Battle of the Bands competition! The band needs your help in order to move on to the next round, an opportunity perform in Chicago for the grand finale. Fans can vote once per day, PER EMAIL ADDDRESS, which means the more email addresses you own the more votes you can cast! For details, check out 17Candle's Land Shark Voting Page.
